Il 19 ottobre sono state annunciate le nomination per l’edizione 2023 dei “MAMA Awards”.
Quest’anno la cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà il 28 e 29 novembre al Tokyo Dome, in Giappone.
I vincitori finali verranno decretati in base ai seguenti criteri:
– per il premio “Artist of the Year” e gli altri appartenenti alla categoria Artista il voto finale sarà dato per il 20% dalla valutazione della giuria, per il 40% dal download/streaming dei brani (25% Corea + 15% globale) e per il 40% vendite di album fisici;
– per “Song of the Year” e per la categoria del genere il voto dipenderà per il 20% dalla valutazione della giuria e per l’80% dal download/streaming dei brani (50% Corea + 30% globale);
– per “Album of the Year” il voto finale dipenderà per il 20% dalla valutazione della giuria e per l’80% dalle vendite degli album fisici;
– “Worldwide Icon of the Year” e “Worldwide Fans’ Choice” saranno composti al 70% dai voti su Mnet Plus e al 30% dai voti su Spotify;
– “Best Music Video” sarà determinato al 20% dalla valutazione della giuria e all’80% dal video musicale.
I brani e i dischi candidati devono essere stati pubblicati tra il 22 ottobre 2022 e il 30 settembre 2023.
La fase di pre-voto per i candidati al premio Worldwide Fans’ Choice si è svolta fino al 30 ottobre e i 20 artisti selezionati in questa fase diventeranno i candidati per la votazione finale, che si svolgerà dalle 18 (ore coreane) del 6 novembre alle 23:59 del 20 novembre.
